This environmentally conscious armagnac now comes in an innovate FrugalPac ‘paper’ bottle, which has less than 1/5 of the carbon footprint of even their previous lightweight glass botle. The lighter bottle also helps to reduce the impact of worldwide shipping even further. Some of the apple pulp from the spirit production is used by local farmers as animal feed.
The producer’s description: “With no additives, just apples, water and two years of ageing in French oak, this is an especially fruity Calvados with some floral notes, a hint of vanilla and a touch of warm spice.”
