Glenfarclas is unsual for having direct fired stills, creating great complexity in the still.
Matured using only oloroso Sherry casks, but with an extensive selection of re-fill casks to help the spirit mature without overwhelming it.
In 1968, the 105 was the first distillery release of cask strength Scotch whisky.
