Glengoyne use no peat in drying their barley, and the distillation is run slower than any other Scotch whisky. The result is a light, elegant whisky, with fresh, fruity notes and a long gristy, malty finish.
The 15 Year Old shows more cask influence than younger expressions, with rich spicy notes coming to dominate the finish.
